This is a 1,473 page carbon copy of a typescript, comprising four intellectual volumes, but bound into three physical volumes. The title page for volume two states that the work is "Taken Partly from the French by a Cistercian Monk of Melleray Abbey La Trappe." The devotions are arranged in chronological order according the the church year. The date "1826 A. D." appears in several places.

Scope and Contents These papers consist of photographs of twenty-four sketches made by Siberius Y. Saito (1908-1980) during his internment in 1942 at Tanforan Assembly Center near San Francisco. The sketches show barracks, mess halls, medical facilities, public areas, and general views of the Assembly Center where Japanese-Americans were held before they were assigned to other internment camps.
